Great read Mandi!!!!!!! "Everybody's Girl" was not what I expected.........I never would have guessed Lesa held so many secrets. I guess it's true what they say about death....It reveals Secrets and Truth. Nita shocked me with the murder and suicide. I really wanted more details of what Nate and Lesa were doing. Taylor was definitely real, there are so many people like her. You could almost say Tay was "Everybody's Girl, also." She was the link that held everyone together. enjoyed this book for the most part because it was unpredictable. I can't wait for the next one. Keep pushing that pen Mandi B!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I love this book and I can not wait to read Prone. There were two big life lessons that I gathered from this book. The two that stood out the most may be clique to some but too true in life.
The first lesson that was relevant, is that it usually takes great tragedy for us to realize and appreciate great joy that we may already have in our lives.
The other lesson that some may forget is that history will repeat itself if we don't learn from our prior mistakes. Many times the things that seem like a burden just may need to be buried. We allow certain things in our life that seems like pleasure for the moment but in the full circle of it causes more pain than pleasure. I believe that Maya Angelou said it best, "If someone shows you who they are, believe them".
This book is perfect for making us realize how love stoned we can be at times, and how we need to just give ourselves some "Me Time" and rehab from our own stupidity. Sometimes sitting alone in the dark can bring everything to light, as "Everybody's Girl" learns.
